Wood100 Furniture specialises in creating unique and sustainable furniture and home accessories made from solid wood. The company approached us, looking to create a logotype that reflects their brand values and showcases their expertise in working with wood.
The first step in the design process was to conduct research and analysis of Wood100 Furniture's brand values, target audience, and competition. We studied the company's mission, vision, and values to understand what they stand for and how they differentiate themselves from their competitors. This helped us understand the industry standards and avoid any visual clichés or stereotypes that might undermine the brand's uniqueness.
With the research and analysis complete, we started the design process by creating a concept for the logotype. Our goal was to create a visual identity that reflects the natural, sustainable, and sturdy characteristics of wood.
After multiple brainstorming sessions, we decided to use wooden blocks to create part of the logotype. We chose brown as the primary colour to represent the natural colour of wood.
We experimented with different typefaces and layouts until we found the perfect balance between legibility and uniqueness. We made sure that the logotype is scalable and can be easily recognisable even in small sizes.
Designing a logotype for Wood100 Furniture was an exciting challenge. Through research, analysis, and concept development, we created a memorable visual identity that reflects the brand's values and expertise in working with wood.
